Dr. Parra was born in Florida but moved to North Carolina in 1976 to attend college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She graduated with at B.S. in Zoology in 1980 and went on to enroll in that institution's School of Dentistry where she received her D.D.S. in 1984. After graduating from dental school, Laura began practicing in Durham and opened her individual private office in 1985. Since then, her practice has grown and evolved, but she continues to focus on preventive and family care while incorporating components of general, restorative and aesthetic dentistry. From the beginning, Laura has worked diligently with her staff to provide individualized dental care for the members of her community in a compassionate and friendly environment. She resides in Durham with her husband, Dr. Ed Kanoy.
Ms. Coleman is a North Carolina native. She attended the U.N.C. School of Dental Hygiene where she received her B.S. in that program in 1986. Kelly worked in two dental offices after her graduation before moving to Mebane and joining Laura's practice in 1991. She has been with Laura now for 30 years and the two ladies share a common interest in and focus on preventive dentistry. She and her family reside in Mebane.
Ms. Cronley is a native of Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan, receiving her Certificate in Dental Hygiene in 1983 and her B.S. in that discipline in 1984. After moving with her family to North Carolina a few years later, she first joined Laura's practice in 1993. Like Laura and Kelly, Kathleen is motivated to focus on preventive dentistry. She lives in Hillsborough with her family.
Ms. Hall is a North Carolina native and certified dental assistant. She is a 1982 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry program in Dental Assisting and worked with a Durham dentist for 25 years before joining Laura's practice in 2008. Heidi lives with her family in Rougemont.
